Santhosh Arayakandy
SNDP YOGAM Devaswom Secretary Sri.Arayakandy Santhosh was born in 1964 at Thalassery to Sri. Damodaran Arayakandy who was a leading contractor and industrialist and Srimathi. Parvathi Damodaran, who was a Rtd Head Mistress. Damodaran Arayakandy was the founding president of Sree Narayana Shakti Dharalayam Mutt of Kuttimakkool, Thalassery. His father taught him that everything belongs to someone else. Don't do it just for the sake of living. but it should be done for the community. It was the time when communists and the congress men had immense priority in the political atmosphere of Kerala where young Santhosh stepped into the path of Business along with Social services with Guru’s Vision. Following the ideology of Guru, Santhosh understood that the pain of the one who suffers is also his own pain. He joined the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP Yogam) at a very young age.
He did his schooling at St. Joseph's School, Thalassery. Higher Studies at Brennen College, Thalassery and completed BA in Economics from Sree Narayana College, Kannur (SN COLLEGE. His father's business empire would have been ruined if he had gone into go into politics at such a young age. Instead of that, he was motivated to think this way when he was conscious about the ideologies of Guru. He had to take over his father's Business Empire at the age of 17. The focus was mainly into pharmaceutical drugs wholesale and retails then. At present, he is the Chairman of Arayakandy Group of concerns focusing into various industries such as construction field, pharmaceutical field, spices plantations and Travel & Tourism etc. He had served in many reputed roles such as Director, Councillor, Asst. Secretary etc. for SNDP YOGAM and now he presiding the post of Devaswom Secretary of SNDP YOGAM and as SN Trusts Executive. Apart from this, he also achieved Paul Harris Fellowship and is also the Past President of Rotary International Club of Tellichery. . He also served in various posts of Sri Jagannath Temple Committee in Thalassery over the years. Pilgrimage to Shivagiri Mutt started at the age of four: Shivagiri is the dream land of many. The last word of the destitute and helpless. It's a place where many people want to go for eternal peace. However, from the age of four, he started performing Shivagiri Darshan (pilgrimage). The virtue of that vision continues from the age of fifty-five along with the prayers and support of his parents as well as his loved ones and is always happy about the journey to Shivgiri Mutt.
